It will hard start from 20F- 40F when you add a little throttle while starting it. There should be 3 bolts holding a rear gear case cover on, remove those first to access the lower part of the diff. After exposing the entire diff, place an oil pan under the rear diff and begin to remove the bolts in this sequence.The 2nd gen King Quads are much different than the first gen, and the rear brake of the 2005+ King Quad is in the oil compartment of the rear gearcase. You must use wet brake compatible oil in that case or bad things will happen. TDH, tractor fluid, Kawasaki wet brake oil, about 650-700 CC is what it takes. While holding the set screw with the screw driver use your fingers and snug the lock nut up. The air diaphragm is often really tough to not twist (even a little will effect it) when putting the cover back on. This is important as the valve will open quicker if it is twisted. 2.
